Rendering Project

DEAR BONES

These were the lovely bones that had grown around my absence: the connections - sometimes tenuous, sometimes made at great cost, but often magnificent - that happened after I was gone. And I began to see things in a way that let me hold the world without me in it. The events that my death wrought were merely the bones of a body that would become whole at some unpredictable time in the future.
— The Lovely Bones

The human body belongs to a lucky evolutionary episode. The internal framework of the human body consists of the human skeleton, which is composed of 270 bones at birth and decreases to a total of 206 by adulthood after some bones get fused together. What if this body runs out of luck and the given state is subverted and expanded in such a way that this fusion doesn’t cease? The rendering represents a complex and dynamic exercise of fusion of the human pelvis. The structure of the skeleton articulates a pathway forward with a rich and unwavering form.
